The design is defined by the relationship between the three buildings and the surrounding porches, which visually and functionally unify the complex into a single, connected experience. Expansive porches wrap the structures and establish a continuous circulation path, linking each program space while reinforcing the sense of one cohesive building.
Higher ceilings and exposed wood trusses that extend past the roof beams create a sense of height, giving the spaces a more dramatic and open feel. Robust timber framing ground the design, adding weight and presence while supporting the surrounding porch structures.
At the heart of the project, a central courtyard creates a shared outdoor space for residents, offering areas for children to play and families to gather. The rear courtyard and adjacent community spaces extend this experience, reinforcing the amenity center as a place for both activity and everyday connection.
