The Nebraska Salt & Grain Office & Truck Warehouse is an 8,200 square-foot pre-engineered metal building serving as the operational hub for a 25-acre rail transload facility in Cleburne, Texas. The facility supports daily operations with a full program including office space, conference and break areas, a lab, storage, and a large warehouse.
The project serves as the primary transload operations building for moving cargo on and off the freight rail stock running through the campus. With this in mind, design was driven by the need for efficiency and supporting a fast-paced industrial workflow. Supporting this is three pull-thru truck bays and a commercial weigh station for loading and unloading the adjacent rail siding.
The facility now anchors transload operations on site, bringing together office, lab, and warehouse functions into a single, cohesive building. The result is a streamlined environment that supports the movement of goods between rail and truck.
